Nonno Joe's Joe, Where my West Side Market Belongs.

Anyone who knows me knows of my love for this Cleveland institution. The moment I saw this photo, taken on my iPhone, I knew I had to make it into a wood burning. I have been working on it for 4 months. After all the time and effort I wanted it to hang somewhere where it might be appreciated. I made the decision to give it to Joe, the owner of Nonno Joe's http://www.westsidemarket.org/vendor.aspx?id=128 . He has given me sage advice and generally treated me like I mattered. He may never know how much it did matter. This just seemed right. I asked him where it was as I envisioned it hanging at his stand. He told me that it might get messed up there and that he had a special place in his dining room, where he was going to hang it. This coupled with the smells and sights of a busy Saturday there finally allowed me to feel the Christmas Spirit. My wife and I picked out a turkey, ham and the fixins' for a lovely Christmas meal. May God bless all who might read this.
